Welcome to my blog. This course, ONTL 650, seems to be very intriging. This entry will provide a brief essay that shares my current perceptions of online learning and teaching and what I hope to learn in this course.
As it relates to online teaching and learning, it is my belief that online learning/distance learning is a great addition to the educational world. It allows so many individuals who do not have the time/means to come into the actual classroom due to work schedules, families, etc., to still take advantage of obtaining training, certification, degrees-undergraduate, graduate, professional - by way of online learning.
I look forward to learning the latest and greatest in online teaching. I hope to learn the intricate details of the overall course pages, discussions, attachments, group projects, etc. I am truly excited about the course! Onward and Upward...

- My name is ShaRi and I look forward to interacting with all of you. Three specific facts... I participate in many community events aimed at spiritual and educational uplift. I am the world's greatest cook. I won a Micheal Jackson dance alike contest. I am particularly interested in taking this course to learn the latest and greatest in instructional modalities. I completed a similiar training a few years back- though the training was very compact and accelerated and did not allow for in-depth training. Certainly, this course will enhance my knowlegde of 'online learning.'
